SPENN Technology is excited to announce a new partnership with the National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) in Zambia. This collaboration simplifies the payment of health insurance premiums and expands the offerings and boost the value proposition of SPENN Technology.

How the Partnership Works
Through this partnership, Zambians will be able to pay health insurance premiums via the NHIMA platform by selecting SPENN as the form of payment. The user would then get a payment request to approve on the SPENN app. In the first phase, users pay through the NHIMA platform, and in phase 2, payments can be made directly in the SPENN app. This makes the process more accessible and convenient for all users.
Payment Stream and Technology
SPENN’s integrated payment system with NHIMA means that each transaction contributes to SPENN’s revenues, creating a new income stream based on transaction volume. Additionally, digitizing the premium collection will reduce NHIMA’s costs and improve service quality for users.
Current Payment Methods in Zambia
Currently, Zambians use various methods to pay for health insurance, including cash and electronic payments. SPENN is already a popular payment solution in Zambia, and this partnership will further extend its usage.
